Painting is fun, but have you ever wondered what’s the health benefits to it?
Ever since I was young, I love doing arts and crafts!
I was never extremely talented at it.
However, I’ve always liked it. From the squeezing of paint onto the palette, to brushing it on as well as I could.
Bonus points if I’m able to make a smooth color gradient!
Something about it was therapeutic, and I don’t exactly know what.
Maybe it was the simple repetitive sound that I crave since everything else was always new and overwhelming.
Maybe it was the visual exploration I’m able to concoct on that day itself.
Ever since I’m into ASMR, I’ve found myself exploring more and more on ASMR painting, as it’s wonderfully relaxing.
Painting is a form of expression. It doesn’t matter if it’s calligraphy, abstract, or just childish swings of the brush. It’s an outlet for emotional release.
Painting has been used as a means of rehabilitation for individuals that went through traumatic events.
During a painting session, all you’ll think about is how to paint it the way you want it in your head. It greatly helps concentration, which is awesome!
Drawing relaxes you, as your mind focus on the subject at hand. It releases any unnecessary burden!
Also, it allows you an opportunity to be FREE! Draw, shape, illustrate anything you want. From the space cowboy in your childhood imagination to the zombie Santa Claus, the possibilities are endless.
Self-confidence could also slowly build as paint over time. Seeing your skills and pieces get better over time, ooh! Such a rush of achievement!
You’ll be surprised if you’re not already a painter!
Consider making this your hobby. You might like it more than you think you would! Recently, there’s a trend on painting rocks as they require less canvas and time. You’re able to explore your creativity within this tiny piece, and it’s really fun, check it out on Amazon here!
This is the latest video I’ve done on painting, feel free to comment and tell me how you’d like it!
Please share with your friends, it means a lot to me! 🙂
